Returns & Refund Policy
Last updated: September 2026
At Denby Bakehouse, we want you to be happy with your order. As our bread is freshly baked and perishable, there are some differences between returning bread and returning a non-perishable product.
1. Fresh and perishable products
Our bread is freshly baked for our customers and is intended to be enjoyed fresh.
Because bread is a perishable food product, we are generally unable to accept returns once an order has been delivered.
However, if there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will always do our best to put things right.
2. Incorrect or missing items
If you receive the wrong product, an item is missing from your order, or there is another issue with your order, please contact us at hello@denbybakehouse.co.uk as soon as possible after delivery.
We may ask you to provide a photograph or other details so that we can understand what has happened.
Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement, refund or another suitable solution.
3. Damaged or poor-quality products
If your bread arrives damaged or you believe there is a genuine problem with its quality, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.
Please include photographs where possible and explain the issue.
We will review the situation and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or refund.
4. Cancelling an order
Because our bread is made fresh to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order.
Once preparation or baking has begun, it may not be possible to cancel the order.
Where applicable, your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
5. Refunds
Where we agree that a refund is appropriate, we will normally refund the payment method originally used for the order.
The time it takes for a refund to appear in your account may depend on your payment provider.
